Wooden Works Alarm Clock.
Made between 1831-1837, this mantel clock was made by Burr & Chittenden in Lexington, Massachusetts. The third hand on the dial is to set the alarm. It has a weight driven alarm and a hand painted floral wood dial, with gold leaf accents. Wonderful label with original directions. Former “cleaned” dates inside door of 1850, 1866, and 1878.
