French Made Gong Strike Clock
This French made mantel clock has “France” cast into the case by the original manufacturer. The movement is stamped “made in France” on the back plate. This hour and half hour striking clock was made ca. late 1800’s and has beveled glass in the door bezel over the dial. Its dial, center case insert, side pillars and urn are painted with blue, browns, yellows and greens. The case has no breaks or missing parts.
